how come there are so many single people in the world?

My father showed me this today. Reading it made me feel the inspiration.

 Whose nest is in the watered shoot.
 My heart is like the apple tree
 Whose branches are bent with
           the thickest fruit...

Dream

Yesterday morning I had a dream - a good dream, which is a rarity anyway - and it left me a little rattled. More later.
